This Japanese sake cup is from “Shugu” series, created by focusing on the modern and sophisticated shape and pattern derived from the old Kinzan kiln’s collections and techniques, has an elegant and timeless charms.
In order to make the best products, Kinzan Kiln designs the shape of the porcelain and grinds the gold powder used for the products by themselves. The “Shugu” series was also created after many discussions with Moritaka Yoshida, the product designer who actually made the molds, to create a beautiful shape that is easy to hold.
