Bamboo Short Silver Guinomi Sake Cup
The grain of the plain wood and the dull, shiny silver brass are contrasting in weight and texture, but are boldly combined to create a delicate silhouette.
The wooden cup is made by Yamanaka lacquerware craftsmen, a traditional handicraft of Ishikawa Prefecture, using the thinnest wood-cutting technique in Japan. Natural wood used for this product has individual differences in grain and color shading, which we hope you will enjoy as a natural texture.
The proportions are small and stable, as if a tuft of bamboo had been cut out. The soft mouthfeel created by the very thin and smooth rim and pleasant weight stimulate the senses beyond the sense of taste.
It is also recommended as a small bowl for serving food or a seasonal condiment container. The design has a strong presence, and will add a touch of elegance to your table coordination.
