Snow Shino Ramen Bowl S
The beautiful white hue of this small ramen bowl is a hallmark of Shino ware. The speckled glaze creates a design that feels both liberating and sophisticated. Shino ware is a type of Mino ware, originally fired in Mino, Gifu Prefecture, during the Azuchi–Momoyama period (1573–1603 CE).
While most of the bowl is glazed, offering a soft and smooth touch, the glaze’s random application leaves some areas unglazed, creating a delicate, rough texture. Each handmade piece is unique, featuring subtle shades of light moss green, brown, and beige, adding to its inherent charm.
This bowl is perfect for a variety of noodle dishes, such as udon or soba. While it may be slightly small for ramen with multiple toppings, its wide rim also makes it an excellent choice for serving salads or side dishes like salads and Japanese-style stewed dishes.
