“PICNIC” Teacup and Saucer
The design was created in collaboration with young product designer Kobayashi Mikiya, who visited the Choemon Kiln and engaged in extensive discussions with Kamide Keigo, the 6th-generation head of the kiln.
The colorful lines represent grass and flowers in the field, wind, and sunlight. This teacup is designed to evoke the feeling of being outside, even when used indoors.
Each piece is carefully crafted by hand using a potter’s wheel. You can choose the mug with or without a lid.
